EXPLANATION:
Smooth-On EA-40™ Epoxy Adhesive is a low-viscosity, solvent-free, two-component epoxy resin. Preferred in aesthetic applications, EA-40 offers high adhesion to wood, metal, composite, and many other surfaces. There is no better resin for use in lamination processes in spring manufacturing. It cures in approximately 48 hours at room temperature and exhibits high resistance to water, impacts, chemicals, and temperature after curing.
Preferred by professional archery equipment manufacturers and craftsmen, this product's versatility makes it an ideal solution in many sectors, particularly in sports equipment manufacturing, repair work, and technical lamination processes. It is a long-lasting, strong, and reliable adhesive.

Mixing Ratio:1A:1B (by volume) - Recommended quantity
Alternative Rate:2A:1B (by volume) – Higher heat and physical resistance.
Treatment Duration:2 days (at room temperature) or 8 hours (at 50°C)
Thermal Resistance (HRT):
1A:1B ratio: 73°C
With a 2A:1B ratio: 103°C
Post-curing heat treatment is recommended.(8 hours at 50°C)
It forms moisture-resistant bonds.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Apply to clean, dry, and grease-free surfaces.
Components A and B according to the mixing ratio.in a clean, metal or plastic containerMix thoroughly for at least 5 minutes.
Apply to the prepared surface and leave to cure for 2 days.
For faster curing, mild heat (50°C) can be applied.
For maximum performance, post-curing heat treatment is recommended.
Wearing protective gloves, a mask, and long-sleeved clothing is recommended.
Surfaces must be dry and clean; smooth surfaces should be roughened (with sandpaper, various chemicals, etc.).
Acetone or cellulosic thinner is recommended for the cleaning process.
It is recommended that the adhesive be applied to and bonded to both surfaces.
